The use of a first sebum absorbing powder with a specified sebum take-up and a second powder with critical surface energy 24 mN/n or less to obtain a non-shiny and/or homogeneous and/or non-transferring and/or rub-resistant and/or initial color-maintaining makeup. Independent claims are included for (1) a composition comprising the powders and a liquid binder phase; and (2) a non-therapeutic procedure for the makeup and/or care of the skin.
