Process for manufacture of a coke with high mechanical resistance by crushing and mixing carbons of various quality or differing properties by stages of (a) crushing of coals of one or more qualities or types so that a cumulative vol ratio of inertivity is lower or equal to a reference values, and (b) charging in a coke furnace by direct charging or charging after mixing of the crushed coal with a coal of another quality, crushed or un-crushed coal.
