PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To decrease the number of transformer fixing components and to provide a structure of a transformer which is more compact than before and superior in operability in a next process by changing structures and arrangement of a shunting transformer and a series transformer constituting the transformer for an indirect switching type automatic voltage regulator making voltage adjustments by switching taps of the transformer. SOLUTION: The shunting transformer and series transformer are each composed of one iron core and one core, and both the transformer are arranged having flanks of iron core leg parts, into which no coil is inserted, opposite each other, and fixed together with common transformer fixing components.
