PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an exhaust gas sampling apparatus for accurately sampling a solid particle containing exhaust gas and accurately measuring the concentration of mercury contained in the exhaust gas in each mode. SOLUTION: The exhaust gas sampling apparatus uses a gas collection pipe 4, collects the solid particle containing exhaust gas A passing through a duct 9 and supplies it to a mercury concentration measurement apparatus for measuring the concentration of the mercury contained in the exhaust gas A, in each mode. The exhaust gas sampling apparatus has the gas collection pipe 4, a dust collection filter 2 provided at a tip of the gas collection pipe 4 and a gas suction pipe 11 coupled to the upstream side of the duct collection filter 2, sucking the solid particle containing exhaust gas A and introducing it into the dust collection filter 2. A gas outlet opening 12 is located at an end which is opposite to a gas inlet of the gas suction pipe 11, and is blocked.
