Display system for retail packaging with included keyhole slot

A display system for displaying retail products is disclosed. The display system includes a display board and a package that is adapted to engage the display board. One of the display board and package includes pegs that engage in a keyhole shaped slot on the other of the display board and package. The package is formed from a blank that includes a plurality of fold lines and tabs. The product to be held in the package is placed on the blank and the blank is folded about the fold lines to form a package. Tabs are joined together to lock the package in place around the product. The package containing the product is then engaged with the display board. The display board includes at least one hole near its uppermost edge to hang it from a display in a retail environment.
