The invention relates to a rod assembly that can be joined from segments and can be used in both technical areas and the leisure sector. The inventive segments (1.1, 2.2, 3.3, 4.4) are disposed behind each other in at least two rows (1, 2, 3, 4) of members, which are fixed as opposite coupling members (5) of the same kind onto one respective not intrinsically rigid support bar like a zipper, and can be connected to and separated from each other by means of at least one locking element (11). At least a specific number of segments (1.1, 2.2, 3.3, 4.4) are provided with at least one shaped element (6) which protrudes from the plane of the support rods and contacts, in at least one point, the protruding shaped element (6) of the preceding or following segment that also comprises such a shaped element (6) when the rows (1, 2, 3, 4) of members are connected. The inventive rod assembly thus consists of light, flexible single parts that can be stored in a minimal amount of space in the dismounted state while providing great stability and allowing the rod assembly to be given almost any shape. Moreover, said rod assembly can be assembled and dismounted within the shortest possible time as opposed to conventional scaffolds. |
