POSITION DISCRIMINATION DEVICE, MOVING ROUTE CALCULATION DEVICE AND POSITION/MOVING ROUTE CALCULATION METHOD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To detect the position and moving route of an object inside a three-dimensional real space by a highly versatile method with few prerequisites.

SOLUTION: An imaging apparatus 11 photographs a human body passing through the three-dimensional real space and acquires a two-dimensional image at every fixed interval of time. A memory 142 stores the correspondence relation of the position on the two-dimensional image and the position on the three-dimensional real space. An HDD 15 stores the probability distribution of the body height of the human body. A control part 141 detects the head peak part of the human body on the two-dimensional image and discriminates the position of the head peak part on the image. To the position on the image of the head peak part, the correspondence relation and the probability distribution of the body height are applied, and the position on the three-dimensional real space of the head peak part and the probability of taking the position are obtained. The control part 141 calculates the moving route of the human body and the probability of taking the route from the time-based transition of the position of the head peak part.
