PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sound recorder which can record sound at a high speed without sound interruption while rotating a brush motor at a guaranteed revolving speed or below. SOLUTION: A reproducing means can reproduce digital data recorded in a first optical disk switching standard reproduction speed, first reproduction speed, and second reproduction speed. A reproduction speed control means controls reproduction speed to any of the first reproduction speed, second reproduction speed and the standard reproduction speed. A first discriminating means discriminates whether a reproduction position is between a track and a track after a reproduction time reaches the prescribed time or not. A second discriminating means discriminates whether a soundless state of the prescribed time or more exists between a track and a track and near the track or not when a reproduction position is between a track and a track.
