PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the rotation transmitting force to surely wind up by forming a chamfered tapered part in both ends of a hard winding plastic tube as a winding core or covering both the ends with a hard plastic cap to increase a contact area of a tapered surface of a tapered cone with both the ends of the tube. SOLUTION: In this hard plastic tube 1 for winding a web material, other materials or a selvage piece, the inside periphery of both the ends to be pinched by a chuck such as the tapered cone 2 is cut for chamfering to increase a contact area with the chuck.
