<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image data processor and an image forming apparatus in which swell of intermediate data can be suppressed and pressure on a memory can be suppressed. <P>SOLUTION: When inputted page description data includes image data and magnification indicating data thereof, the image data is not magnified based on the magnification indicating data but the image data and magnification information based on the image data and the magnification indicating data are generated as intermediate data. When inputted page description data includes image data and reduction indicating data thereof, the image data is reduced according to reduction indicating data to generate the intermediate data.
