PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a scroll type compressor which materialize improvement of design freedom and effective lubrication thereinside. SOLUTION: In the scroll type compressor 30, a passage 124 extending along a radial direction is formed on the mating surface of an annular seating surface 32f of a front housing 32 and an abutting surface 84h of an Oldham's base 84. The passage 124 which is formed by a first groove 33 formed in the annular seating surface 32f of the front housing 32 and the abutting surface 84h of the Oldham's base 84, communicates between a clearance 120 and a chamber 126 surrounded by the annular seating surface 32f, the Oldham's base 84, a thrust plate 80 and a movable side substrate 42a of a movable scroll 42.
