PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To perform an efficient job processing by preventing, when executing a plurality of jobs using a finite number of resources, a job under execution from being laid in the waiting for availability of the finite number of resources. SOLUTION: The availability of a CMT 160 and an MTL 170 is managed by a device management table 144. A job management part 132 registers jobs in a job management table 142 based on a schedule file 151 while sorting their records in descending order of backup data amount. The job management part makes reservation, when the CMT 160 or MTL 170 necessary for a job is available, and requests the execution of the job concerned to each cluster job execution control part 134-136.
