PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rolling prevention label which makes a cylindrical article easy to hold when used or carried, which is durable, and whose rolling prevention function can last long, and a cylindrical article with the rolling prevention label. SOLUTION: The rolling prevention label is provided with small projecting parts 12 on the surface of a label sheet 11. The small projecting parts 12 are provided in a shape of a dotted line, a continuous line, or an intermittent line and stuck on the cylindrical periphery of the easy-to-roll cylindrical article 1. The small projecting parts 12 are formed in two lines 12, 12 so as to securely prevent rolling, and the distanceχbetween the lines are set to the following formula:χ=2πr×(2θ/360°) (wherein the angles of circumference made between each of the straight lines connecting the cylindrical center O of the cylindrical article 1 laid on a horizontal base surface F and the small projecting parts 12, 12 formed in two lines and a perpendicular line V passing through the cylindrical center O and drawn to the base surface F areθ,θrespectively.).
