PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a portable terminal for performing animation display with a small amount of image data. SOLUTION: The image information(deformed image information) of a deformed still image is formed which is obtained by deforming a still image by an arithmetic operation based on the image information of the still image, and the formation of the deformed image information is controlled based on an instruction signal, and the timing of image display based on the formed deformed image information is controlled, so that the deformed still image can be displayed at a display part as an animation image corresponding to the operation of the portable terminal or the like.
