PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve a designability in the appearance by controlling a color tone of a blackening galvanized steel sheet formed with a zinc phasphate conversion treatment with a psychometric lightness L value and a glossiness degree. SOLUTION: The blackening galvanized steel sheet applies the conversion treatment with nickel-containing zinc phasphate conversion-treating solution to the galvanized steel sheet or a zinc alloy galvanized steel sheet, and a zinc phsphate conversion film (1) composed of a nickel-substration deposited layer (11) and a zinc phasphate crystal layer (12) coating the nickel-substration deposited layer, is formed. The nickel deposited amount in the nickel-substration deposited layer (11), is 10-80 mg/m<SP>2</SP>, and Ni/Zn ratio (mass ratio) in the zinc phasphate crystal layer (12), is 0.02-0.08 and the deposited amount of the zinc phosphate conversion film (1) is 2.0-5.0 m<SP>2</SP>.
