PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lithographic printing plate material having excellent printing performance and excellent storage property with time, and to provide a method for processing a lithographic printing plate by using a developing solution having pH of <12.5 without using a silicate.

SOLUTION: In the lithographic printing plate containing an alkali-soluble polymer, a photopolymerization initiator and a polymerizable monomer, the polymerizable monomer is a compound having two or more vinylphenyl groups in the molecule end with at least one vinylphenyl group having a substituted vinyl group at the meta position.
