PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an external skeletal fixation device which is small and can set an angle as desired. SOLUTION: This external skeletal fixation device is equipped with a plurality of pins 21 to be stuck into a bone, a plurality of ball joint means 22 respectively fit into and mutually rotatably combined with the pins 21, and fixation screws 23 to fix a plurality of the pins 21 by respectively fixing the ball joint means 22. When the pins 21 are to be stuck into a bone, angles of the pins 21 can be set as desired by making the ball joint means 22 rotatable by loosening the fixation screws 23. After sticking the pins 21 into a bone, the pins 21 are mutually fixed by fixing ball joint means 22 respectively by the fixation screws 23. The external skeletal fixation device 13 can be made smaller by the ball joint means 22 to enable the device to be applied for fixation of bone fragments to which fixation is conventionally not applicable.
