<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To form coating clad layers having a less burred, uniform surface and having an excellent adhesiveness by making the form of mist adhesion to a first layer surface of a roll by movement of a spray gun as uniform as possible and allowing a small amount of the mist to turn around the end surface of the first layer in forming the clad layers by coating by means of a spray coating method. <P>SOLUTION: Shaping of the desired clad layers having excellent uniform adhesivity is made possible by making the external diameters of the mask tool and the first layer of the roll the same to eliminate a level difference between the central portion of the roll and the contact surface of the first layer and the mask tool and subjecting the edge portion at the end on the joint side of the first layer of the roll of the mask tool to chamfering, so as to allow the small amount of the mist to turn around the end surface of the first layer. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
