PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To manufacture a cable label having a desired shape that does not enforce troublesome work on a user.

SOLUTION: A character string storage section 631 stores character strings to be printed on cable labels. A printed image generation section 613 generates the printed image of the character string stored in the character string storage section 631. A cable information storage section 641 stores the names of a plurality of cables and the outer diameters in an associated state. A label length determination section 612 determines the length of a cable label on the basis of the outer diameter of the cable selected. A printed image arrangement section 615 arranges the printed image generated by the printed image generation section 613 within the length determined by the label length determination section 612.
