<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a display device which enables restoration to be performed at a low cost. <P>SOLUTION: In this display device wherein a sign plate (11), a diffuser (12) and a light source are combined together, the sign plate is arranged on the diffuser; the light source is composed of a plurality of light-emitting diodes which are positioned on the opposite side of the sign plate and arranged in the diffuser; the diffuser is composed of a plurality of split diffuser cells; and the light-emitting diodes are built into the respective diffuser cells. Thus, when getting out of order, the original state can be restored only by replacing the diffuser cells into which the damaged light-emitting diodes are built. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
