<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress occurrence of a blanket remainder in printing. <P>SOLUTION: A base material for lithographic printing form plate is obtained by applying a roughening treatment containing an electrochemical roughening treatment and an anodic oxidation treatment to an aluminum plate.
