<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for grounding a flat cable with a shield layer, in which both the shield layer and inner conductor are easily grounded. <P>SOLUTION: The method for grounding the shield layer 130 and the inner conductor 120 of a flat cable 100, comprises providing a small hole 140 reaching to at least the inner conductor 120 from the side of the shield layer 130, and filling a conductive material 210 into the small hole 140 to allow electricity to conduct between the shield layer 130 and the inner conductor 120.
