<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To evaluate accurately stability of steel slag subjected to aging treatment such as a blast furnace, converter or electric furnace slag generated in an iron mill or the like. <P>SOLUTION: This slag stability evaluation method has a characteristic wherein the plus-sieve slag from which a fine grain portion is removed by a first sieve mesh is further subjected to hydration acceleration treatment after the aging treatment, dried and sieved by a second sieve mesh smaller than the first sieve mesh, and the value determined by (the slag mass of the minus sieve of the second sieve mesh)/(the slag mass of the first plus sieve before the hydration acceleration treatment)×100% is used as the slag decay rate. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
