METHOD FOR ROUND HAUL NET-FISHING AND FISH CATCHING TOOL THEREFOR

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for round haul net-fishing which is a new fishing method to encircle and catch a fish school by a single fishing boat with a small number of fishermen, and provide a fish catching tool for the method. SOLUTION: A round haul net 1 having a catching part 2 composed of a bag net and a drive-in part 3 enabling ring-constriction and connected to the opening of the catching part 2 is hauled at the stern side of a fishing boat 21 to catch the objective fish with the catching part 2. The drive-in part 3 is hauled and constricted with ball rollers 24, 25 placed at the stern side of the fishing boat 21 and then the catching part 2 is hauled. Buoy-side tug lines 7L, 7R are placed at the buoy-side edge of the drive-in part of the round haul net 1 and a number of rings 9 enabling the insertion of a sinker-side tug line 10 are arranged at the sinker-side edge.
