<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a collapsible type roof device with excellent operability. <P>SOLUTION: In an electric wheelchair in which a hood 7 is disposed above a seat 5 including a seat back 3, a hood support frame 16 for supporting the hood 7 is mounted on the seat back 3 through a link mechanism 8. The link mechanism 8 folds and houses the hood support frame behind the seat back 3 and as the housed hood support frame 16 is pulled out askew upward ahead, the hood support frame 16 is spread and set above the seat 3 while a lock means is so arranged as to be automatically actuated at the setting of the hood support frame 16 and holds the hood support frame 16 at the set position. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
