A low-cost, simple-to-produce tera-hertz band wave processing device excellent in the transmitting characteristics of a tera-hertz band wave. The tera-hertz band wave processing device comprises a tera-hertz wave generator (10) for generating a specified tera-hertz wave, and an optics optical plane composed of a high-function resin and provided ahead of the advancing direction of a generated tera-hertz wave. More specifically, a translucent plate (4) is formed as the optics optical plane. The optical axis between the plate and the generator (10) is regulated by a first translucence regulator (1) to transmit a tera-hertz wave on the optical axis and reflect a light beamed at a specified incident angle off the plate (4). Second translucence regulators (2, 3) are further provided on the optical axis between the plate (4) and on Si bolometer. A specified visible light is shone to the plate (4) as a pilot light (12) and is allowed to reflect off the plate (4) to superimpose the optical axis of the reflected visible light on the optical axis of a tera-hertz wave (11).
