<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a stereoscopic image display device displaying without difference between consciousness for a stereoscopic image position by binocular parallax and consciousness for a display position by focal adjustment of the eyes by changing the display image following after the movement of a visual point. <P>SOLUTION: The device is equipped with a mirror array in which mirrors having two orthogonally crossing rotary shafts are arrayed two-dimensionally in large numbers, a first driving means which rotatably vibrates these mirrors around their respective first rotary shafts, a second driving means which rotatably vibrates these mirrors around their respective second rotary shafts, and a light beam forming means by which parallel light beams capable of being modulated are made incident on each mirror. The device is also characterized in that it is equipped with a light quantity modulation means by which the quantity of the incident parallel light beams is modulated in accordance with a rotation angle in the first and second rotary shafts of the mirrors. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
