PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To perform appropriate event notification in accordance with a situation at the time of occurrence of some event. SOLUTION: In the case that the electronic apparatus is provided with a mechanism capable of connecting an earphone 18 being a second sound output means arbitrarily apart from a speaker 1 being a first sound output means, when the timing at which any event should be notified of has come, a connection state of the earphone 18 is detected by an earphone connection situation detection part 26. If the earphone 18 is connected, specified audio data (a message) are read out of a RAM 23 and outputted to the earphone 18 through a reproducer 16. On the other hand, when the earphone 18 is not connected, another acoustic data (alarm sound) are read out of the RAM 23 and outputted to a speaker 17 through the reproducer 16.
