The display (R1, R1a) comprises a block or field divided into different regions which can represent the month, day and year of a date. The day region is divided into a first field (2) including the numbers 0-3 for the first digit of the day and a second field (3) including the numbers 0-9 for the second digit of the day and all of these numbers (4) can be highlighted in order to indicate the day for a given date. The month region contains the numbers 1-12. The year region includes different numbers, including e.g. 3 or 03 for indicating the year 2003.
