Fraud control device applicable to modular public telephones that consists in a return box (2), a coin input device with slider (4), a headset deviation plate (6), and an electronic circuit; it is implemented by several auxiliary elements, obtaining the detection of a jam in the return box (2), preventing telephone users from using coins as a payment means in the case where the above mentioned jam is detected, transmitting audible messages through the handset and messages in the display, so that users activate the return button, enabling the input of coins in the case where movement is detected.
