Process for controlling the display of a two-dimensional table and graphic object for doing the same

The two-dimensional matrix constructed based on the determined dimensions e.g. text is displayed. The area containing the same information items or elements in the matrix, is detected and collapsed to reduce the size of the matrix. Independent claims are also included for the following: (1) a graphical object for displaying a complex data structure; and (2) a computer program for multidimensional table display control.
