Forestock made of plastic material

A front grip (1) for a hand weapon, e.g. rifle, machine pistol etc., has a one piece plastic moulding with a hinged top cover (3) for clipping onto the weapon. At least one side of the grip is fitted with threaded inserts for threaded fasteners (10) which secure accessories to the grip, e.g. night vision sights, illuminator etc. The threaded inserts are metal and have self locking threads. The inserts are secured by thickened sections of the plastic moulding.
