Apparatus for accepting coins

The coin acceptance slit (13) is connected to a bypass (7) leading to a coin collector (14). A hopper (3) holds a store of coins and its bottom is closed by a hinged or sliding flap (4). There is a first sloping plane (1) with a sensor (12) under the sliding flap. The coins slide off the plane and fall through a gap (S) between two rollers (2a,b). There is a second flap (8) and a second angled plane (5) with a sensor (12). The coins then fall into a coin tester (6) which can send the coins to the coin collector or to a coin dispenser (15) for giving change.
