The number and letter combinations coding and decoding system (10) may be used with a bank card (32) and may handle a PIN-Code. The system involves a decoder card (12) with a code number field (14). This has a given arrangement of columns (20) and lines (18) and number fields (22). The decoding card has a first reference point (24) adjacent to a second reference point (34). The bank card may have a key window which may mark or highlight given numbers to give the decoded PIN-number.
