PURPOSE: A method for displaying a receiving message in a mobile communication terminal is provided to display the character string of a new message on a screen of a terminal even though a receiver does not open a message receiving box. CONSTITUTION: A CPU of a mobile communication terminal decides whether a new message is received in a message storage(S400). If so, the CPU transmits a signal for display information on the new message stored in the storage to an LCD display(S402). The LCD display receiving the display information on the new message displays the new message on an LCD screen of the mobile communication terminal in a type that the character string of the new message flows(S404).
