PURPOSE: Provided is a block for assembling and toy block set of the same having an improved structure so that children more easily and safely assemble and disassemble the toy block set. CONSTITUTION: The block for assembling includes more than one insertion groove(13) in a designated size and having a protruded jaw formed in an inward direction; and more than one linking piece(11) for being inserted into each insertion groove, and having a projection at a lower end thereof. Particularly, each linking piece(11) includes a built-in magnet inside, and is movable back and forth. Also, each block has at least one linking groove on a side where no insertion groove is formed, and each linking groove has a built-in magnet.
