The present invention provides an optical access module. The module comprises: an electric signal processing module and a controller, the electric signal processing module comprising a UNI PHY and an NNI PHY, configured to realize an interface function defined by an assigned communication protocol; a data link layer bridging unit, configured to manage messages forwarded between the UNI PHY and the NNI PHY; and a controller, configured to control, according to a management address, the electric signal processing module to forward the messages to a user side device or a network side device corresponding to the management address. The present invention solves the problems of impossibility of directly connecting a universal Ethernet switch and an IP router in the related art to networks of a plurality of media such as an ODN and an HFC by using an optical module and necessity of hanging devices such as an OLT and a CMTS under the Ethernet switch and the IP router. |
