PURPOSE: A system and method for reproducing a situation of TV are provided to control home electronic appliances when a TV set is used to provide live service. CONSTITUTION: A system for reproducing a situation of TV includes a tuner(10), a decoder(20), a video processor(30), an audio processor(40), and a controller(50). The tuner tunes a broadcasting signal transmitted from a broadcasting station. The decoder decodes the tuned broadcasting signal to output a video signal, an audio signal and operating code data of each home electronic appliance. The video processor processes the video signal such that an image corresponding to the video signal is displayed. The audio processor processes the audio signal such that a sound corresponding to the audio signal is output through a speaker(41). The controller controls the video processor and audio processor to produce the image corresponding to the video signal and the sound corresponding to the audio signal, and interprets operating code data of the home electronic appliance to control the operation of the corresponding home appliance. |
