PURPOSE: An input device of a mobile communication terminal is provided to distinguish active buttons for inputting characters from inactive buttons which cannot input the characters by using luminous units, and to inform a user of the distinguished buttons through lights having preset different colors respectively, thereby intuitively inputting information through a keypad. CONSTITUTION: A keypad(10) comprises plural buttons(11), and inputs predetermined data to a terminal. Plural three-color luminous elements(12) are located under the buttons(11) comprised on the keypad(10), and emit three-color lights by a predetermined power control signal. A luminous element controller(20) outputs a predetermined power control signal to the plural three-color luminous elements(12) by an externally inputted control signal.
