PURPOSE: A system for pressing and treating a can is provided to reduce manpower and cost for additionally separating waste by automatically sorting and collecting ferrous and nonferrous metal after pressing the empty can with simple process, and to prevent environmental pollution by recycling materials. CONSTITUTION: A can pressing and treating system is composed of a press unit(10) pressing a can by turning at the specific angle in rotating a motor(11) after putting the can, a separation unit(20) sorting and guiding pressed materials falling from the press unit into ferrous metal and nonferrous metal, and a collecting container(30) storing two kinds of sorted materials. The press unit comprises the motor fixed to an inclined table, a crank arm combined with the shaft of the motor, a fixing bar inclined to the nonferrous metal collecting part and installed in the upper part of the table to contain and press the can, a pressure plate turned and combined with the fixing bar, and a connecting rod connecting the end of the crank arm to the outside of the pressure plate.
