<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a back light structure that can be made to emit light in any desired colors, a cellular phone using it, and a keypad for the cellular phone. <P>SOLUTION: The back light structure has a blue-violet chip LED 3 with an emission wavelength of 400 to 430 nm, provided on a printed board 2 inside a cellular phone body 11.
