PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a polypropylene resin composition which has high melt tension, is not discolored and hardly suffers from decrease in melt tension when recycled. SOLUTION: The polypropylene resin composition comprises a treated matter, obtained by compounding and melt-kneading an organic peroxide with a polypropylene resin having a melt flow rate of 0.1-50 g/10 min, and incorporated therewith, an oxide of a group 2 or 12 metal in the periodic table or an alkoxide of B, Al or Si or of a group 4 or 5 metal in the periodic table.
