<p>A pneumatic tire, comprising at least two layers of belt layers formed on the carcass layer outer peripheral side of a tread part, a belt cover layer formed by covering reinforcement cords extending in the circumferential direction of the tire with coat rubber which is disposed on the outer peripheral side of the belt layers, and an extension part formed by extending the belt cover layer by at least 10 mm in the axial direction of the tire beyond the edges of the belt layer with the maximum belt width among two layers of the belt layers. The coat rubber at the extension part of the belt cover layer is formed of a rubber with a tangent delta of 0.1 or less at a temperature of 60ºC, and the ratio (h/SH) of a tire radial length h to a tire cross sectional height SH between the extension part and the edges of the belt layer with the maximum belt width is 1.5/100 or less.</p> |
