<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a compact and low-cost full color image forming apparatus capable of achieving high speed print, and stably obtaining high picture quality in a long term. <P>SOLUTION: The absolute value of the charging potential of a photosensitive body 1 is set so as to be a relatively low condition which is ranging from 350 to 550V, and toner having a high coloring force is used with its toner quality on the transfer member posterior to transfer which is ranging from 0.3 to 0.7mg/cm<SP>2</SP>in order to maintain necessary image concentration posterior to fixing. Thus, the electrostatic fatigue of the photosensitive body 1 can be hardly generated, and the usage of toner per print can be reduced.
