PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for manufacturing a roll for an electrophotographic device with which fine images can be obtained without overlapping coat layers even when a plurality of coat layers are formed on a conductive elastic body layer. SOLUTION: After forming a 1st coat layer by applying a coating solution from one end side of the conductive elastic body layer to the other end side while rotating a shaft body, the rotating direction is reversed and a 2nd coat layer is formed by applying the coating solution from one end side of the conductive elastic body layer to the other end side to manufacture the roll for the electrophotographic device.
