PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical lens having good optical characteristics and excellent reflow resistance (release property) and a good method for manufacturing the optical lens. SOLUTION: The optical lens is formed by curing a curable composition containing essentially (A) an organic compound containing carbon-carbon double bonds having an SiH group and reactivity, (B) a silicon compound containing at least two SiH groups in one molecule, and (C) a hydrosilylation catalyst. The optical lens which can be easily parted from molds not coated with an external release agent is formed by using the molds for molding the thermosetting composition.
