PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a travel route information storage device for storing the positions, radius of curvature, or the like, of a curve, an intersection, and the like, on a travel route, where a vehicle actually traveled, with a small amount of data, and for using the data for subsequent safe travel. SOLUTION: The travel route information storage device comprises a vehicle position detection sensor 6 for detecting the position of a vehicle; a vehicle speed sensor 7 for detecting the traveling speed of the vehicle; a lateral acceleration sensor 8 for detecting lateral acceleration generated while the vehicle is traveling; and a travel route measurement storage unit 9 for inputting each detection signal from the respective sensors 6, 7, 8, detecting a drive position that changes with the drive of the vehicle, and computing the radius of curvature of a curved drive when lateral acceleration is generated, and storing the drive position and the data of the radius of curvature, thus storing the position, the radius of curvature, or the like, of the curve, intersection, or the like, on the travel route that the vehicle actually drove, for helping the subsequent safe travel.
