PURPOSE: An isolator circuit provided to transmit a signal having a high frequency component through a transmission line having a large low frequency noise, and reduce costs by using passive elements. CONSTITUTION: An isolator circuit(310) comprises a blocking capacitor(309) having an end connected to a transmission line side node(319) and the other end connected to a receiver side node(321), such that the blocking capacitor cuts off the DC component of the received signal; a DC end resistance(307) having an end connected to the transmission line side node of the blocking capacitor, such that the DC end resistance prevents a reflection with respect to the DC component of the received signal; a first inductor(305) having an end connected to the other end of the DC end resistance, and the other end connected to a first potential terminal(323), such that the first inductor prevents losses of DC component of the received signal caused due to the DC end resistance; an AC end resistance(311) having an end connected to the receiver side node of the blocking capacitor, and the other end connected to a second potential terminal(325), such that the AC end resistance prevents a reflection with respect to the AC component of the received signal; an offset resistance(313) having an end connected to the receiver side node of the blocking capacitor, such that the offset resistance applies DC offset voltages to a receiver(317); and a second inductor(315) having an end connected to the other end of the offset resistance, and the other end connected to a third potential terminal(327), such that the second inductor prevents the offset resistance from giving influences to an AC end resistance value.
