<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a coating device, which cures a coating agent layer uniformly and homogeneously, even if the coating agent layer has a large thickness when not cured, in forming a coat layer made of a cured body of the photocuring coating agent on the surface of a lens having a convex or concave curved surface, like spectacles. <P>SOLUTION: The coating device has a lens retaining mechanism, a spin coat station for forming the photocuring coating agent film on the lens, a curing station for curing the film, and a moving means for moving the retaining mechanism at least between the spin coat station and the curing station. The curing station comprises a light source, a preliminary room, and a light irradiation room, where both rooms can be sealed and atmospheres therein can be controlled. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
