<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a chain drive unit capable of more favorably improving lubricating oil feed performance to micro-clearances in a chain. <P>SOLUTION: A cam sprocket 12b is disposed to be offset in a rotation axis direction to a crank sprocket 13. The chain 11 is forcedly displaced widthwise between the cam sprocket 12b and the crank sprocket 13, so that a bush 113 and a pin 115 slide to each other.
